9.5.2. Replacement of a brake disk

The prevention

It is necessary to replace brake disks simultaneously from both parties of a forward suspension bracket.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a support from a rotary fist, without disconnecting from it a brake hose (subsection 9.5.1 see). 2. Suspend a support on a wire to a suspension bracket spring, watching that the brake hose has not been tense, it was not overwound and strongly it was not bent. 3. Turn out the screw 15 (fig. the Forward brake mechanism of type FS III see) fastenings of a brake disk. 4. Moisten with a liquid of type WD of 40 junctions of a brake disk 14 with a nave 13. Wait a little that the rust was dissolved, and remove a dirt and a rust. 5. Remove a brake disk 14 from a nave. At the complicated removal shift a disk a rubber or polymeric hammer. 6. Carefully clear a nave 13. 7. Establish a new disk 14 and screw the screw of 15 its fastenings. 8. Establish a support on a rotary fist upside-down, preliminary having pressed the piston by means of the special adaptation or, at its absence, the wooden handle of a hammer. Thus press on the piston in regular intervals in different points on all circle, watching that the piston did not warp. 9. Establish a wheel. Definitively tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel only on the car standing on the earth. 10. Some times press a brake pedal that pistons have risen into position. 11. Check up and if necessary add a brake liquid to demanded level in a tank.
